Slayers 2 Breathing Guide: Water, Thunder & Wind Training
Choose your breathing route before farming its supplies. Water adds parkour and five underwater pickups; Thunder uses a cup game and Boulder Split; Wind combines Boulder Split with Boulder Push and requires travel through the cold region. Each route finishes with its own trainee fight, followed by individual skill unlocks.

Choose a route you are ready to complete
At level 25, compare the journey and exercises as well as the style you want to use. A trainer conversation starts a quest chain; it does not replace the training or grant every move immediately.
If you want to stay around the Mother Bear area for the trainer visit, look at Water. If you prefer timing exercises and can handle the climbing route to Zentaro, look at Thunder. Choose Wind when you are prepared for repeated travel between the ice region and the lower training areas.
| Route | Trainer approach | Plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Water — Urokodaki | Wooden building near Mother Bear | Parkour landings and searching underwater ledges for five Sea Crystals. |
| Thunder — Zentaro | Climb past the bear-area red gate, trunks and crane landmarks | Cup tracking, timing exercises and Boulder Split. |
| Wind — Saneri | Ice platform below the snow settlement | Cold damage, recovery stops and two separate boulder activities. |
Open the complete trainer route
Follow the six training objectives, finish parkour and identify the underwater quest pickups.
Thunder Breathing: Zentaro and the mansion exercisesReach the trainer, follow the cup game and timing tasks, then defeat the Thunder Trainee.
Wind Breathing: Saneri, cold travel and Boulder PushPrepare for the snow, complete the pushing course and return for the Wind Trainee.
Training order changes with your style
Use your own quest log when moving between activities. The same exercise can appear at a different stage in another style, and some tasks only belong to one of these routes.
| Step | Water | Thunder | Wind |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Parkour Dungeon | Meditate | Push ups |
| 2 | Push ups | Cup Training | Boulder Split |
| 3 | Boulder Push | Push ups | Boulder Push |
| 4 | Aim Training | Aim Training | Aim Training |
| 5 | Underwater Rocks ×5 | Boulder Split | Meditate |
| 6 | Water Trainee | Thunder Trainee | Wind Trainee |
Separate trainer supplies from your travel budget
Keep healing and equipment money separate from what you set aside for the trainer. Read the request before confirming the hand-in; training trips can leave you needing another journey if you arrive short of materials.
For Water, keep at least 5,000 Wen available and check Urokodaki’s material request. For Thunder, prepare 7,000 Wen and ten Demon Horns, then confirm Zentaro’s request. For Wind, set aside 50 Demon Horns and bring recovery supplies for the snow.
Count horns in your inventory. A target number of horns is not a target number of kills. Spend on a route you intend to finish, then keep track of the newly active training objective before travelling away.
Find out why the next step is locked
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| No training quest after visiting the trainer | Your level, requested items and whether you accepted the training conversation. |
| A later exercise is locked | The preceding task in your own style’s sequence; check that its counter registered completion. |
| Water Trainee is locked at four pickups | Find the fifth Sea Crystal; the quest calls these Underwater Rocks. |
| Cold damage before the Wind encounter | Recover at campfires along the journey and approach the fight with enough health. |
| Training finished but a move is unusable | The skill node, mastery and point requirements, equipped weapon and on-screen restriction. |
Turn the unlock into a usable combat setup
Open Skill Tree after completing the trainee encounter. Find the breathing branch, read the next node and spend points deliberately. Having the branch, meeting a mastery threshold and unlocking its skills are separate checks.
Equip a suitable weapon and practise the first available move before buying several unfamiliar skills. Check where it starts, how it aims and where you finish after using it. Add a follow-up only after you can repeat the first action without losing control of your positioning.
Continue the wider Slayer route toward Final Selection. Breathing Boost is a separate training goal with Ren and gourds; it does not replace unlocking a style. Keep those milestones separate in your progression plan.
