Match the shortage to the next action

Check the item’s full name and icon. Crude Iron Ingot is not a substitute for an advanced Forged Ingot, and an ore held for one refinement recipe does not automatically satisfy another. Keep recipe access, material quantity and currency as separate checks.

Build a Wen budget before the next craft

In V.12, each Coin Pouch sells for 1,000 Wen. Multiply the quantity you intend to sell by 1,000, then compare that estimate with Ginzo’s displayed offer before confirming. This values the stored stack; it does not predict how quickly more pouches will drop.

After Final Selection, equip your crow and choose missions you can complete consistently. Read the offered Wen reward before accepting, and account for travel and combat time when choosing your next task. A long fight can make a larger reward less useful than a shorter repeatable route.

Coin Pouches are a separate inventory check from your current Wen balance. Ginzo’s sale interaction lets you review the quantity and total offer before accepting. Check the selected items before confirming, then inspect the updated balance. Do not count the same pouches as both stored items and spendable Wen.

Reserve the amount needed for your immediate goal before spending on optional refinement or another upgrade. If the recipe is still locked, solve that prerequisite first; a larger Wen balance will not unlock a missing schematic.

1. Open the target craft or purchase and record the missing Wen and ingredients.
2. Check Coin Pouches and the sale offer before deciding how much more Wen to farm.
3. Choose a manageable crow mission and complete its actual objective.
4. Recheck the balance and inventory after a short batch of missions.
5. Stop when the planned cost is covered; keep a reserve for the other progression tasks you still need.

Use the trial ingot for the first forging route

Complete Final Selection and finish the reward interaction with The Sisters. Check that Crude Iron Ingot is in your inventory, then visit Yagane in Hidden Mist Village. The selected Tengoku Katana recipe requires one Crude Iron Ingot and displays a Free crafting fee.

Yagane lists separate katana patterns. Inspect the one you intend to craft rather than assuming a recipe or stat from one pattern applies to every blade. After crafting, equip the new item and equip the crow separately for the next mission loop.

Exchange a surplus before farming another rare material

Blacksmith Togane’s Swap materials menu offers six eligible entries at a one-for-one exchange rate. The choices include Star Ore, Weaver’s Silk, Reinforced Plating, Weaver’s Cloth and two distinct Forged Ingot entries. Match the correct ingot card to your recipe rather than merging their inventory counts.

An exchange redistributes what you already own. It is useful when one required material is short and another eligible material is genuinely spare. It cannot increase the total number of materials, produce Wen or resolve a missing schematic.

1. Open the intended recipe and note every remaining material requirement.
2. Subtract those requirements from your inventory before deciding what is spare.
3. At Togane, choose the material to give and the material to receive.
4. Review the exchange and resulting quantities before confirming.
5. Return to the recipe and check its other costs before starting another farm.

Separate refinement spending from crafting materials

Refiner Hagane upgrades a weapon you already own. The selected step lists its Wen cost, ore requirement and outcome chances. These costs belong to that step; a displayed example is not a universal upgrade price.

A failure can lower refinement. If you intend to use a Refinement Guard, activate its Tap to arm control before the attempt and check the state again afterward. Owning a guard in inventory is not the same as selecting protection.

Set a spending limit that leaves your planned craft intact. If an attempt loses a level, reassess the cost of recovering it before continuing.

Buy gourds for remaining progress, not an arbitrary total

On the Slayer route, Ren’s gourd-access quest at Butterfly Estate requires character level 75. Return his lost Nichirin to finish the access step, then use the gourds to raise Slayer Progression.

Character level, mastery and Slayer Progression are different counters. Inspect your current Slayer Progress before buying more gourds. A completed Large Gourd use adds 300 progression in the launch route; simply buying one does not complete training.

Breathing Boost is the level-4 Slayer Progression goal. Purchase in manageable batches, complete the uses and inspect the remaining progress so Wen is not tied up in unnecessary extras.
