Slayers 2 V.12: Coin Pouch Value & Economy Changes

V.12 changes three spending decisions: Coin Pouches sell for 1,000 Wen each, Ouwigahara offers 1,000 Wen for 2,500 points, and Tomioka Serenity applies to refinement and non-series crafting. Ouwigahara also awards a free chest at each ten-floor milestone.

Recalculate stored pouches before another farm

At the V.12 rate, ten pouches represent 10,000 Wen before any later change to the sale rule. This is inventory value, not a farming-speed estimate. Check the sale window rather than budgeting from an older 750-Wen guide.

Open Ginzo’s sale interaction, choose the intended quantity and review the total. If you choose Max, check that you intend to sell the whole selected stack. Confirm the sale and inspect the Wen balance before deciding how much more you need.

Check the Tomioka quote before refining

Select the weapon and refinement step at Hagane, then read the displayed Wen cost and material requirement. A discount changes the quote; it does not remove failure risk or supply missing ore.

For crafting, the V.12 extension specifies non-series items. Check the chosen recipe instead of assuming that every advanced set receives the same treatment. No universal percentage is needed to review the actual offer.

Choose the next task by your shortage

If stored pouches already cover the purchase, sell the amount you need before starting a longer farm. If you need dungeon rewards as well as currency, consider those rewards together rather than comparing only Wen.

Keep a reserve for progression. Repeated refinement can consume that reserve even when an individual attempt is discounted; stop and reassess when the next attempt would spend your planned crafting budget.
