Slayers 2 Builds: Starter, Water PvE & Insect PvP
Start with the katana progression route, choose Water PvE after Water training, or practise Insect and Cutlass for player fights once those unlocks are available. Match the build to your current skills and the opponent, then add clan benefits when you have them.

|---|---|---|
| No breathing style yet | Starter katana | Buy the initial weapon and follow early quest progression. |
| Water training complete | Water PvE | Expand your rotation as skills unlock and manage openings and cooldowns. |
| Tomioka obtained, Water still locked | Water training first | Complete the breathing route; clan ownership does not replace it. |
| Insect and Cutlass available | Insect PvP practice | Learn short entries, stamina decisions and the Uzui poison matchup. |
Keep clan and breathing decisions separate
Choose a build around the abilities you can use today. Tomioka supports Water with specific conditions, while Shinazugawa has Wind-focused benefits. Read those conditions before spending clan rolls; a rare clan does not automatically complete a breathing build.
