Slayers 2 Skill Tree: How to Unlock Moves and Fix Locked Skills
Press M and choose Skill Tree in Slayers 2 (formerly Project Slayers 2) to unlock individual abilities. Find the branch for your breathing style, weapon or clan, then read the selected node's point, mastery and prerequisite requirements. Completing a trainer quest unlocks the style; learning its individual moves is the next step.

How to find and use the skill tree
- Open the game menu with M on PC and choose Skill Tree.
- Select the category matching the ability you want. Check the category tabs instead of searching only the first tree shown.
- Select the specific move and read its requirements, including earlier nodes and mastery.
- Spend points on an available node after checking it belongs to your intended setup.
- Confirm the node says UNLOCKED, then inspect your equipped skill bar and practice the corresponding input.
Why is my breathing move still locked?
| What you see | What to do |

| The breathing branch is missing | Check the full trainer quest, including its final trainee encounter and unlock notification. |
| The branch is present but a node is locked | Read that node's requirements. The style unlock does not automatically satisfy mastery, points or prerequisite nodes. |
| A move is unlocked but its key uses something else | Check your equipped tool and current skill slots, then compare them with Settings > Controls. |
| You are looking for a clan ability in the breathing tree | Switch to the clan category. For example, Tomioka's Flowing Motion belongs to the clan kit. |
| A later move asks for another item or unlock | Follow that move's displayed condition instead of repeating the original training exercises. |
Choose points for your next task
If your next route requires climbing or jumping between ledges, inspect the movement nodes such as Wall Climb and Double Jump before spending everything on combat. Routes to elevated trainers and Dr. Higoshima make movement preparation useful.
After unlocking a breathing style, inspect its first available attack and the next node's requirements. Keep your intended weapon and current quest in mind while spending points; a point committed to an unrelated branch does not help you use the move you came to unlock.
For a clan ability, read the clan entry alongside the tree. Some effects interact with existing moves, so learn what triggers the effect before changing your usual combat inputs.
Skill points, clan rerolls and breathing changes
Decide which part of the character you want to change before using a reset or reroll option. Skill points, clan choice and your learned breathing style are separate decisions. Read the effect shown by the menu before confirming it.
Use the codes page for the current redemption instructions and offers. A code mentioned in an old video should not be treated as a guaranteed available reset. After any point reset, reopen Skill Tree and inspect the branches you need for your next route.
