Slayers 2 Controls: Block, Dash, Run & Skill Keys
On the PC layout, F raises your guard, Q with a WASD direction dashes, Left Shift runs and Left Alt toggles shift lock. Use the numbered hotbar slot to equip your tool, and M to open the menu. Check Settings → Controls if your bindings differ.

PC movement, guard and equipment keys
These are the PC bindings to check before your first quest. Your numbered tool slots and equipped skill bar determine what an input uses; switching a weapon or art can change the move attached to a skill slot.
| Action | PC input | Check the result |
|---|---|---|
| Equip a tool | Its numbered hotbar key | Fists occupy slot 1 in the starting setup. Read your own slot after rearranging equipment. |
| Guard with fists equipped | F | Look for the raised-arm stance and white shield above the character. Do not mistake an attack animation for a guard. |
| Directional dash | Q + W / A / S / D | Choose the direction first: forward, left, backward or right. The HUD reminder reads Q + WASD. |
| Run | Left Shift | Check Toggle run under Settings → Controls if you want to change how the run input behaves. |
| Shift lock | Left Alt | Toggle it while moving around a target and compare how the camera and facing behave. |
| Menu | M | Open the game menu for inventory, settings and the skill tree. |
| Skill slots 2–5 | Z / X / C / V | Read the currently equipped skill names; these keys do not name universal attacks. |
| Skill slots 6–8 | B / N / K | A bound slot still needs an available learned move. A key assignment does not unlock a skill. |
Find your bindings and Toggle run
Test running and dashing separately. Toggle run changes the running input; the directional dash remains a separate action.
- Open the game menu and choose Settings from the sidebar.
- Select Controls. The Movement section contains Toggle run; the Keybinds section lists Run, Shift lock, numbered tools and skill slots.
- Compare the displayed key with the action you are trying to use. Scroll the panel to inspect later skill slots.
- If you change Toggle run, close the menu and test a short straight route before fighting. Check whether you need to keep holding the run key.
- After changing equipment, inspect the hotbar again before following a combo that only gives letters such as Z or X.
Set up mobile controls before fighting
Mobile players can change button sizes in settings. Make the controls you use together easy to reach, then test movement and attacks in a safe area before beginning a quest fight.
The mobile shift-lock toggle is at the top right of the screen. Test both states while moving around a target so you know how the camera behaves before committing to a combat sequence.
Adjust aim assist on mobile and console
Mobile and console players can edit aim-assist sensitivity in settings. Change one setting at a time and test it against a moving target; a comfortable value depends on your input device and how you aim.
If the camera correction feels too abrupt, reduce the setting and test again. Keep the value that lets you track intentionally rather than simply choosing the highest available number.
Find the right skill-tree tab
Press M on PC and open Skill Tree. Weapon, fighting-style, clan, breathing and other ability categories have separate tabs. If a skill seems missing, inspect the category tabs before assuming the unlock failed.
A clan’s description and the place where you spend skill points are different screens. Read the clan benefits during customization, then look for its unlockable skills in the skill tree.
A short pre-quest check
- In a clear area, equip the hotbar slot containing your fists. Confirm the fighting stance before moving on.
- Use F and identify the shield indicator. Practise entering and leaving the guard before combining it with movement.
- Practise Q with each WASD direction where you have space. Learn a sideways or backward exit as well as a forward approach.
- Toggle Left Alt and circle a target to choose a camera state you can control. Check your run binding separately.
- Against an early quest enemy, stop committing to attacks when you need to defend or reposition. If your resource bar is low, reset your spacing rather than repeatedly trying unavailable moves.
- Return to the quest giver and accept the intended objective before farming. On mobile, use the on-screen layout and adjust button size rather than looking for PC key labels.
