Slayers 2 Breathing Tier List for Your First Style

For a first Slayers 2 (formerly Project Slayers 2) breathing style, Water is the simplest all-round starting pick. Thunder, Flame, Insect and Serpent are strong alternatives when their movement or trainer route suits you. Wind, Stone and Sound need more preparation or technical practice before they pay off.

First-unlock tier list

These tiers help a new Slayer choose a practical first training route. They weigh trainer access, travel, equipment prerequisites and how soon the style becomes useful. They do not rank equal-gear PvP damage.

TierStyleWhy choose it first
SWaterNearby trainer route and flexible control skills.
AThunderFast approach; prepare for the cliff route to Zentaro.
AFlameClear attack roles and strong Rengoku synergy.
AInsectFast pressure; climb the Butterfly Estate building.
ASerpentMobile pressure; find Obari by the mountain wall.
BWindUseful range variants, but repeat inputs and spacing take practice.
BStoneArmored melee after a longer trip and Axe and Mace drop.
BSoundRanged kit after a cold Iceveil trip and elevated trainer climb.

Pick the style you can actually train

Water is the easiest broad recommendation because its trainer route starts near Mother Bear and its kit supports both approach and defense. Thunder rewards a faster opening; Flame improves further if you already have Rengoku.

Stone requires the Axe and Mace weapon from a chance chest. Sound requires a snowy Iceveil trip. Wind rewards careful spacing and variant inputs. A lower first-unlock tier can still be the right long-term style when you enjoy its moves.
