Slayers 2: How to Become a Demon — Muzan Quest

Prepare for a different progression route

Demon conversion is separate from the Slayer route through breathing training and Final Selection. Decide which route you want before investing in its later unlocks. This walkthrough starts with a human character seeking Muzan’s conversion quest.

Learn Double Jump and Wall Climb before the doctor objective. The route goes up a tall rocky formation, and reaching the NPC is only the first part of the trip: you also need to survive the return with pursuers. Keep recovery supplies and learn your movement controls before accepting the carry task.

Lower reputation and wait for Muzan’s invitation

Defeating Civilian NPCs lowers reputation. Keep track of the messages from Muzan as your reputation falls, and look for his invitation before beginning the search. Use NPC names to distinguish civilians from quest-giver interactions.

Do not mistake a negative reputation number for a completed conversion. The next useful milestone is a successful conversation with Muzan and receipt of the Biwa Bell. If he refuses to engage, review your invitation and current character route before spending more time searching for another copy of him.

Find Muzan at night and use the Biwa Bell

Check Mistful Harbor, Hidden Mist Village and Ice Veil Valley after dark. Open the map to distinguish these areas: Mistful Harbor and Hidden Mist Village are different places, even though both names contain Mist. Search the streets and paths rather than waiting at a single coordinate; Muzan walks around.

When the conversation succeeds, take the Biwa Bell. Select and use the bell to reach his domain, then speak to Muzan there to accept the conversion task. Receiving the bell alone does not change your race.

1. Wait for night and search one of the named villages.
2. Talk to Muzan and confirm the Biwa Bell appears in your inventory.
3. Use the bell and speak to him inside his domain.
4. Check that Muzan Quest is active with the flower and doctor objectives.

Complete both objectives in Muzan Quest

You can work on the doctor delivery before finishing all nine flowers. Use daylight for the carry route and return to flower hunting at night, instead of treating the order in this table as a mandatory sequence.

Search shorelines for Spider Lilies

At night, search the grassy edges around the lake and swamp, then check behind the houses near Mistful Harbor. Make a loop along the water so you cover new ground instead of repeatedly checking the same patch. The pickups glow; approach them and use the pickup interaction.

Watch the active Spider Lilies counter after each pickup. A flower you can see is not yet a completed task interaction. If the counter is still short, continue the shoreline loop and check another nearby patch. Do not stand at one empty spot expecting a fixed respawn timer.

Carry Dr. Higoshima to the destination

Follow the doctor objective marker to the elevated rocky area and climb to his platform. Use Double Jump and Wall Climb to reach the top, then interact with Dr. Higoshima to capture and carry him. Identify the delivery destination before starting your descent.

Slayer enemies pursue you during the delivery. Keep moving toward the checkpoint and use your movement tools to make space. Stopping to clear every pursuer prolongs the run because more can appear. Prioritize reaching the objective with the doctor over collecting extra kills.

At the destination, check that Deliver Dr. Higoshima is complete. Reaching a nearby village or merely picking him up is not the delivery finish. If the task is incomplete, return to the marked destination and inspect the active objective.

Use Muzan’s Blood, then plan your first Demon session

After both objectives finish, find Muzan’s Blood in your inventory, select it and use it. The transformation sequence is the race-change step. Holding a blood vial without using it leaves that final action unfinished.

Prepare for sunlight before a long daytime trip. Black Amigasa provides a beginner equipment route to sun protection; obtain and equip the hat rather than assuming conversion includes immunity.

Blood Demon Arts have their own unlock process. An art orb starts a separate training quest, and skills are managed through the skill tree afterward. Becoming a Demon does not automatically complete that training or unlock every move.

When the route seems stuck
