Buy a Shovel after Shiro's supply quest

Carry the tool into the War Fans or Firstlight Tanto route. A Shovel enables a dig at the correct snow patch; it does not reveal the Tanto's lantern-only blue footprints.

1. Accept Supply the Settlement from Iceveil Guard Shiro.
2. Load nine Cooked Bear Meat and 25 Health Elixirs into Gate Stores, then return to Shiro.
3. Visit Winter Store Rep Lynx and open the Shovel purchase option.
4. Check the displayed Wen price and confirm the Shovel appears in Inventory.

Return to Lynx for the Firstlight War Fans clue

Continue the War Fans conversation chain through Shiori at Butterfly Estate, Dockmaster Sofen at Mistfall Harbor and Old Trapper Retsu. Return to Lynx afterward and choose the dialogue about the woman with wrapped hands, including Where did she go when it appears.

Use the next clue to search near the last house by Doma. Leave the shop toward the south side, check the nearby house corner and use your Shovel at the indicated snow. The reward is the schematic; a finished weapon still requires its crafting step.

Resolve a missing shop or story option

If Lynx has no Shovel option, confirm the Gate Stores meat and elixir counters and Return to Shiro are complete. If the wrapped-hands dialogue is missing, read the active War Fans objective and revisit the preceding clue giver.

For the Firstlight Tanto, Lynx supplies the Shovel, while Retsu's lantern route reveals the dig location. Completing the shop purchase alone does not complete that schematic hunt.
