How to obtain the Cutlass

The Cutlass is a chance reward, so one successful Zuko fight does not guarantee it. Repeat the boss route if the chest gives another item.

1. Finish Krue's early Bandit quests until the Zuko boss objective becomes available.
2. Track the active quest to the Mini Boss Zuko target near the Bandit area.
3. Block, dash away from the boss's attack and return for a short punish rather than emptying your stamina at once.
4. After the fight, use the loot interaction and inspect both the chest result and your inventory.

Check its weapon skills after equipping

The Cutlass skill tree has a weapon-dependent Quick Draw node and a separate Double Cut unlock. Owning the weapon and learning its moves are different steps.

Open the Weapon section of the skill tree after equipping the Cutlass. Read each node's current mastery and point requirements before spending.

When to use it

Cutlass gives a new player a boss-derived sword path after the basic shop katana. Practice the weapon's ordinary swings and unlocked skill timing against manageable quest enemies before relying on a longer combo in a boss fight.

If the Zuko objective has not appeared, return to Krue's earlier quest chain; attacking the boss and receiving an active quest reward are separate questions.
