Yagane
Yagane is the smith for the first post-Final-Selection katana craft. Claim your Crude Iron Ingot from The Sisters, travel to Hidden Mist Village and speak to Yagane. His forge menu lists Enryu, Shinkage and Tengoku Katana; the displayed Tengoku recipe uses one Crude Iron Ingot and has a Free crafting fee.

When to visit Yagane
Finish Final Selection and complete the reward conversation with The Sisters. Check Inventory for the Crude Iron Ingot before making the trip. Winning the Hand Demon fight without claiming the reward leaves the forge material unconfirmed.
The route in the gameplay footage continues to Hidden Mist Village, where Yagane opens a katana pattern menu. This is the trial-reward forge step, separate from later refinement and advanced material exchanges.
Keep the smith jobs separate
Yagane handles the post-trial blade choice. Hagane is the later weapon refinement NPC, while Togane is linked to advanced material swaps. If a Nightfall or V2 recipe is locked, inspect its own base weapon, schematic, materials and currency instead of repeating the first ingot craft.
If Yagane's menu does not show a usable craft, verify the trial reward and selected recipe first. An ingot in Inventory and the correct menu selection are separate checks.
