Whirlpool
Whirlpool is a Water Breathing move that costs six skill points and carries the user toward a target. Unlock it through the connected Water branch, then test its reach against a manageable enemy before using it to approach a boss.

Save six skill points for Whirlpool
Read the mastery number displayed on your own Whirlpool node as well as its point cost before buying another skill.
- Complete Urokodaki's Water Breathing training and inspect Water Surface Slash.
- Select Whirlpool in the Water skill tree and confirm the six-point cost.
- Read the live mastery and connected-node conditions, then unlock it when eligible.
- Equip a compatible katana and check the assigned input.
Close a gap with the advancing attack
Whirlpool carries the user forward toward an enemy. Test it from a modest distance first and watch where you finish after contact. This helps you decide whether a short-range follow-up is actually in reach.
Line up the target before pressing the skill. If you pass beside it, turn toward the enemy and reset your spacing before spending another cooldown.
Budget the Water branch after Whirlpool
Water Wheel is the next purchase: nine skill points and Water Mastery 27. Together, Whirlpool and Water Wheel require 15 points, before other upgrades. Keep character level, Water Mastery and unspent skill points distinct while planning the path.
