Exploding Beads

Exploding Beads has two versions in Ouw Productions' Sound Breathing showcase. At 0:54, the long-range version throws hovering beads that explode on enemy contact or when the key is pressed again. At 1:34, the close-range version drops a large smoke bomb, backflips away and lights it with a slash.

Long range: suspended beads

The user throws multiple beads ahead. They remain in the air until an enemy touches them; the official narration also demonstrates manual detonation with a second key press.

Practice the throw and the second press separately. If an enemy touches a bead first, the contact explosion is different from deliberately triggering the whole set. The video does not specify how long beads persist.

Close range: retreat and ignition

The alternate version begins with a large smoke bomb at close range. The character backflips away, then unleashes a blazing slash that ignites the bomb.

This animation creates distance while setting off the nearby blast. Check the on-screen input for the close-range version in the current skill tree; the narration does not name a universal PC or mobile button combination.

Identify which version you triggered

  1. Confirm Exploding Beads is unlocked and has an assigned input.
  2. Test the long-range version in open ground. Observe the hovering projectiles before pressing the skill key again.
  3. Test the close-range version with an enemy nearby. Look for the smoke bomb and backward flip.
  4. Compare the actual input prompts and resource cost on your device; do not assume the two versions share the same cooldown.
