Set up the night-fishing clue

The setup is the clue's key: basic rod, no bait, night and the specific ledge. If nothing changes, verify each condition before repeating casts elsewhere.

1. Obtain and equip Basic Fishing Rod from Dock Master Sofen.
2. Remove any bait from the rod before casting.
3. Wait until night, then travel to the red bridge and find the waterspout.
4. Stand on the cliffside rock ledge across the water from the spout, as shown in the video.

Complete the catches and check Inventory

Finish five fishing catches from the ledge, then inspect the reward notification and Inventory for Drowned Lure. Count completed fishing interactions rather than assuming five quick casts are enough.

In the creator's explanation this lure functions as reusable bait. Check its current item tooltip for any updated effects or restrictions; the video does not give a measured luck bonus.

Use the lure to continue the route

After the lure step, go beneath the red bridge at night and look for the Legendary Fisherman ghost. Speak to him and follow the fish request shown by his current dialogue.

The ghost and the final rod location are later steps. Finding the lure alone does not place the Legendary Fishing Rod in Inventory.
