Getting started

Slayers 2 Demon or Slayer: Which Route Should You Choose?

Choose Slayer in Slayers 2 (formerly Project Slayers 2) if you want breathing trainers, level 45 Final Selection and the later crow and katana route. Choose Demon if you want Muzan's conversion quest, Blood Demon Art orbs and Core Training. Both routes need movement, equipment and quest progress; make the choice before spending heavily on one branch.

Your clan is a separate choice from this route. A clan passive can support a style or art, but it does not finish the quest that unlocks it.

Pick Slayer for trainer and trial progression

After the starter quests, prepare for a breathing trainer around level 25. Each style has its own travel and training tasks. Unlocking the style branch still leaves individual skills to purchase and master.

At level 45, Final Selection is a sequence of quest objectives ending with the Hand Demon and a reward handoff. The Crude Iron Ingot from that route leads to Yagane's forge in Hidden Mist Village.

Pick Demon for Muzan and an art

Find Muzan at night, use the Biwa Bell for his domain and complete the conversion objectives. Protect yourself from daylight before long trips. An orb is a later art unlock, not an automatic reward for merely meeting Muzan.

After conversion, get an art orb, use it for Core Training and unlock the art's move nodes. The art and a compatible weapon may have separate requirements; Blood Manipulation is one example with a Sickle prerequisite.

Make the choice from your next session

If you prefer learning a named sword style and a fixed trial milestone, start with Slayer. If you prefer orb-based art progression and planning around daylight, start with Demon. Keep a useful clan and weapon while you learn the route; an ideal reroll is not required to complete your first quest.
