Thunder Clap and Flash

Thunder Clap and Flash is a Thunder Breathing forward dash followed by a sword strike when it reaches an opponent. Finish Zentaro's six training tasks, then inspect the Thunder skill tree and combat bar. Aim the dash from a measured distance, watch whether the opening contact lands and only then plan a nearby follow-up.

Find the move after Zentaro's training

Training opens the style, while later individual nodes may still need mastery and points. Check the move's actual unlocked state instead of assuming the final trainee fight grants every attack.

  1. Complete Zentaro's six ordered tasks and defeat the Thunder Trainee.
  2. Open Skill Tree and inspect the Thunder Breathing branch for Thunder Clap and Flash.
  3. Read the selected node's point and mastery requirements, then check its assigned combat-bar input.
  4. Equip a weapon that permits the Thunder move before practicing.

Aim the forward dash before the follow-up

The move crosses the gap quickly and turns a connected approach into a sword attack. Face the enemy and start from a distance you can judge. If you pass beside it, reset your position rather than spending the next close-range skill on empty space.

The target can be knocked away after contact. Track its landing point before trying normal sword hits or Lightning Fold. A fast animation alone does not guarantee a hit against a blocking or moving opponent.

Fix a missed opening

If the move does not start, check the node, weapon and key binding. If it starts but misses, shorten the distance and put the target in the center of your aim. If the target is pushed out of reach, close the gap before continuing the sequence.
