Firstlight Mask
The Firstlight Mask schematic is in a hidden alcove beyond the underwater cave leading toward the Tai Chi trainee. Swim through the passage, surface in the cavern, then hop up the rocks on the left and enter the small corner opening. Study the named mask pickup there. This is a schematic; check the current forge or crafting interface for the finished mask's requirements.

Reach the Tai Chi training cavern
The video route from 7:23–8:17 includes several turns and the creator briefly loses their way. Follow the visible cave passage rather than treating the automatic-caption left/right sequence as a reliable map from every entrance.
- Find the submerged cave used to reach the Tai Chi trainee.
- Follow the underwater passages toward the trainer area, watching your breath and health.
- Surface in the concealed chamber before searching for the mask; the pickup is not on the initial cave floor.
Climb to the mask alcove
If you reach the trainee but do not see the mask, return to the left-side rocks and inspect the upper corner. The video distinguishes this pickup from the Firstlight Lantern puzzle in a different building.
- From the upper cavern, look for the climbable rocks on the left.
- Hop across those rocks to the small corner opening.
- Enter the recess and study the Firstlight Mask schematic around the spot shown at 8:30.
Check the crafting step separately
Collecting the schematic records the pattern; it does not prove that a wearable mask has been crafted or equipped. Check the current crafting screen for its materials, price and effect before committing resources.
The guide footage does not establish a finished mask stat panel or a guaranteed underwater survival method, so prepare for the swim according to your build.
