Slayers 2 Rengoku Clan: Skills, Passives & States
Rengoku is a Supreme clan with the Ascendant role in Slayers 2 (formerly Project Slayers 2). Its kit focuses on flame attacks, katana mastery and retaliatory burn. Read active skills separately from conditional passives: the clan roll alone does not unlock a breathing style or place every ability on your combat bar.

Active skills and how to use them

| Indomitable Will | Tap to repel and briefly stun nearby enemies; Fear hinders their movement and dash. Hold to create a larger stun zone. | Use the short burst to break pressure or the held zone to control an approach. |
| Heart Ablaze Mode | Adds offensive, movement and regeneration bonuses. Enemies that hit you receive a burn based on their own maximum health. | Start a damage window once you can stay in range; the retaliation still requires an enemy hit. |
Passives and trigger conditions

| Pain Resistance | Low health does not apply the usual movement slowdown. | This preserves movement; it does not heal you or prevent damage. |
| Master Swordsman | Katana and weapon mastery gain is increased. | This helps unlock mastery-gated nodes, rather than replacing their skill-point costs. |
| Ignition Hit | The first M1 of a new combo burns. Purgatory, Flame Undulation, Flame Tiger and Blazing Universe also apply burn. | The burn does not stack from repeated applications; separate the initial hit from the damage-over-time effect. |
| Status Immunity | Reduces Flame damage and prevents Indomitable Will from affecting you. | Flame resistance is damage reduction, rather than immunity to every damaging attack. |
Combat states and practical rotation
Rengoku rewards using Flame skills alongside katana attacks. Its clan mode and breathing moves must be unlocked in their separate trees.
Against a target outside melee range, reposition before starting your burn and mode rotation.
- Open customization and expand Rengoku to read its Skills, Passives and Stats.
- Open M → Skill Tree and select the Rengoku clan branch. Unlock the active skills you want and inspect their requirements.
- Equip the corresponding skill slots and practise the triggers described above before taking the kit into a boss fight.
Common clan mistakes
Rarity, role and stat bonuses describe separate parts of the clan. A Supreme roll does not complete a trainer quest or grant a Blood Demon Art.
For a mode, fill and activate its bar before expecting mode-only effects. For a passive, satisfy the named attack, party, health or combat-time condition.
