Kocho Clan

Kocho supports Insect Breathing with Poison Draw Mode, poison interactions and airborne sword damage. Activate the mode for Insect pressure, then preserve a way to leave the exchange. Its former stamina-drain passive was removed, and its on-death poison does not apply in PvP Arena or Ranked.

SkillEffectUse and limitation
Poison Draw ModeWhile active, +20% Insect Breathing damage and 5% cooldown reduction, with movement, dash and poison bonuses.Learn Insect separately, then use the active window for the attacks you can land. The former stamina-drain passive is removed.

Passives and trigger conditions

PassiveEffectCondition
Insect AffinityInsect skills poison targets and poison damage is increased. The style interaction requires Insect attacks, learned separately from Shinora.
Status ImmunityPrevents poison.Direct weapon and skill damage can still hurt you.
Toxic EssenceAn opponent that kills you receives a brief maximum-health-based poison effect. The on-death poison does not apply in PvP Arena or Ranked.
Aerial MasteryAirborne sword attacks deal additional damage. The condition specifies sword attacks while airborne.
Butterfly’s GraceBelow thirty percent health, movement speed and jump power increase. It gives movement at low health; it does not restore lost health.

Combat states and practical rotation

Prepare your Insect moves before activating Poison Draw Mode. Use its damage, movement and cooldown window to approach, land a short exchange and reposition.

Aerial Mastery specifically concerns airborne sword attacks. Do not transfer that bonus to every ranged art or grounded attack. Keep low-health Butterfly’s Grace as an escape aid instead of expecting it to restore HP.

  1. Open customization and expand Kocho to read its Skills, Passives and Stats.
  2. Open M → Skill Tree and select the Kocho clan branch. Unlock the active skills you want and inspect their requirements.
  3. Equip the corresponding skill slots and practise the triggers described above before taking the kit into a boss fight.

Common clan mistakes

Rarity, role and stat bonuses describe separate parts of the clan. A Legendary roll does not complete a trainer quest or grant a Blood Demon Art.

For a mode, fill and activate its bar before expecting mode-only effects. For a passive, satisfy the named attack, party, health or combat-time condition.

Arena and Ranked death-effect restriction

The on-death poison effect is disabled in PvP Arena and Ranked. Plan around your active attacks and defensive resources while alive instead of counting a death proc as part of the competitive exchange.
