Unlock Slithering Serpent in the Serpent tree

Finishing the trainer quest opens the style; it does not automatically purchase every move. Read the live tree before spending points.

1. Complete Obari’s material hand-in and the marked training sequence ending with Serpent Trainee.
2. Open Skill Tree and select the Serpent Breathing branch.
3. Find Slithering Serpent; read the current mastery, skill-point and connected-node conditions.
4. Unlock and assign the move, then confirm a compatible sword is equipped.

Practice Slithering Serpent against a clear target

Save this longer attack for a clear opening. Align the first hit, follow the winding movement and verify the target is still in range at the finish.

Start with an isolated, slow target. Watch the opening hit, your ending position and the target’s reaction before adding another move to the sequence.

If the skill stays locked or misses

For a locked node, check mastery, available points and earlier connected nodes separately. If an unlocked move does not activate, check its assigned slot and equipped weapon. If it fires but misses, adjust spacing and the direction of the opening hit.
