Betty's Gemstone: River Route and Pickup
Accept Find Betty’s Gemstone from Betty in Bamboo Grove Sanctuary. Drop to the river, follow it beneath the red bridge and search the rock slabs on the riverbed for the glowing Gemstone. Use its Pick Up prompt and check Gemstone found reaches 1/1. The completion message is shown at the pickup.

Accept the quest beside Betty
- Reach Bamboo Grove Sanctuary and find Betty on the grassy upper bank beside the path.
- Speak to her and accept the Gemstone request. Confirm Find Betty’s Gemstone is shown in the tracker.
- Start the river search with full health and air; select a movement tool you can control before dropping down.
Search the riverbed beneath the bridge
- Drop from the bank to the river and head toward the red arched bridge.
- Pass below the bridge and approach the dark rock slabs under the Sanctuary area.
- Dive to inspect the gaps between the slabs for a glowing crystal. Surface to refill your air between searches.
- Move close enough to see Gemstone / Pick Up, then use the displayed interaction.
- Confirm the 1/1 counter and completion message before leaving the river.
If you cannot find or collect it
| Problem | Action |
|---|---|
| No crystal is visible | Recheck the rock gaps along the riverbed, including below and beyond the bridge. Return to the surface between passes. |
| A glow is visible, but the quest remains | Approach it and use the named Gemstone prompt; swimming over it alone does not collect it. |
| You picked it up but cannot tell whether the quest ended | Check the quest list and completion notification before searching for a second crystal. |
| You are running out of air | Surface first, then repeat a shorter dive to the rock you were inspecting. |
