Refiner Hagane

Separate refinement from forging

Hagane is the refiner seen beside the Hidden Mist forge in Solidz's walkthrough. First obtain the weapon you want to keep. Togane's crafting menus make or exchange weapons and set materials; Hagane's menu changes the level of an existing weapon.

The recorded interface presents a list of weapons, a selected upgrade and a table of level and damage values. Choose the exact weapon before comparing outcomes or spending ore.

Read the live outcome bar before Refine

One paused UI example showed Success 32.5%, Great 2.5% and Fail 65%, in the creator's +5-to-+6 context. Those are not universal probabilities. The screen also showed a guard control with three held, one ore and a Wen counter; exact cost depends on the selected weapon and step.

The narrator says a failed higher-level attempt can reduce level and that an armed guard prevents that loss. No completed roll was inspected, so this page does not promise an observed refund, a particular Great increment or how many guards an attempt consumes.

1. Select the weapon and inspect its current and proposed upgrade level.
2. Read the Success, Great and Fail percentages for that selected step.
3. Check the Mythic Refinement Ore and Wen counters.
4. Decide whether to arm a Refinement Guard, then review the screen again before Refine.

Budget refinement after the base craft

Reserve the ore and Wen shown by Hagane separately from the materials required to craft a V2 or Nightfall blade. The Volcanic and Tornadic forge menus each show 10 Mythic Refinement Ore for crafting; the selected refinement attempt in Solidz's clip showed one ore. These are different transactions.

If you cannot absorb a possible level loss, inspect the guard toggle before committing. The current in-game outcome bar is the authority for the weapon and level you actually selected.
